Reinders to Become the MBA’s Official Sports Turf Products Supplier in April 2024

Reinders, Inc., a full-line professional turf products distributor with three Minnesota market locations, has agreed to become a sponsor and the official amateur baseball field expert of the Minnesota Baseball Association beginning in April 2024.

Reinders was founded in 1866 and is currently managed by the fifth generation of the Reinders family.  The company provides competition-grade turf maintenance equipment and supplies to professional turf managers in the sports field, golf, lawn care and landscape markets in 11 upper Midwest states.

“Reinders is excited to partner with MBA members to help them maintain their ball field surfaces to the highest quality standard possible.  We specialize in providing target-specific products for maintaining infield dirt and the green grass around it,” said Joe Churchill, Field & Grounds Specialist for Reinders’ Minnesota market.  “Backing our professional products with valuable online and in-the-field technical support is our promise to members, establishing a solid partnership they can depend on.”

Reinders represents DuraEdge products, also an MBA corporate sponsor, along with premium products from leading manufacturers of pro-grade fertilizers, grass seed, ball field amendments, marking chalk, turf chemicals, irrigation products and grooming tools.

“Every ball field is unique,” Churchill said. “It is our goal to help advise MBA field managers on implementing best field management practices while addressing their individual challenges, specific needs and budgets.”

Products supplied by Reinders and DuraEdge were used on 2023 MBA state tournament venues this summer.

During the early winter months, Reinders will be unveiling several product bundles that will be available exclusively to MBA teams.

“These bundles will streamline the ordering process eliminating complicated logistics and the guesswork around what to buy and when,” Churchill said. “ Our years of experience in the sports turf business will come in handy during this process.”
