With the postseason heating up, our pollsters turned toward some perennial state tournament powers for this round of rankings.

The 2019 state championship teams — Jordan and Hutchinson — rose up in the rankings. The Brewers last appeared in the June 22 rankings but own a big win over Sartell earlier this season. The Huskies, meanwhile, rose from the No. 10 spot last time to No. 5.

Waconia remained atop the rankings and Sartell stayed put at No. 2. Sobieski and St. Patrick flip-flopped while New Ulm cracked the top 10 for the first time this season, coming in at No. 7.

Check out the rest of the rankings this round.

4. Hutchinson Huskies — 23-6 and won very competitive North Star league 16-4 battling Delano, Buffalo and Loretto who all finish 15-5, will likely have to beat two of them to win region — any one of these four could make a run
