Class C Ranking; Board Meeting

Posted on May 13, 2011

Since Blogger is out of service I am posting this on the News page.

I recruited some help to rate the Class C teams in the state.  Here is how the four of us ranked the teams for the week of May 13, 2011.

Notes from Andy Johnson:

Midway and Lasrup split games last week

New to my rankings: Sartell

Dropped from my rankings: Belle Plaine (noticed that they lost to Lonsdale)

Big games this week:

Friday – Howard Lake at Winsted

Sunday – Dassel-Cokato at Howard Lake

Notes from Tom Elliott:

Midway (I’m told they were missing guys in Lastrup)

Sartell Muskies (there is a Sartell Stone Poneys, too; it’s a two-team town).

Milroy (best team in the Corn Belt League)

I’m using your poll to judge some of the teams, since I don’t know much about them. I hope no one’s taking this too seriously. I’m interested in any input.

Notes from Baseball Guy:

I’ve heard good things about the Fairmont Martins–Could break into the rankings soon. Things will start changing when the tournaments start. I’ll rate Class B again next week.  One note—Shakopee and Dundas (Last year’s champion and runner-up respectively) play Friday night at Dundas at 7:30 P.M.  If you have any comments or think another team should be ranked send an email with your information to: bnbaseballguy@gmail.com
